(FOTO), a nationwide outcomes database and reporting service for healthcare providers. TexPTS received the prestigious FOTO award for reporting better patient outcomes than the national average in the third and fourth quarters of 2011.

Texas Physical Therapy Specialists (TexPTS) has been awarded an Outcomes Excellence Certificate from Focus On Therapeutic Outcomes, Inc. (FOTO), a nationwide outcomes database and reporting service for healthcare providers. FOTO is an external party that provides analysis and grants awards to a select group of providers across the country to recognize the excellence achieved in effectiveness of treatment. TexPTS has not only been awarded one certificate, but two, over the third and fourth quarters of 2011 for reporting better patient outcomes than the national average.
TexPTS first implemented FOTO into their practice in August 2010. The primary benefit of FOTO outcomes is that it provides a benchmark measure for overall quality and value of the services offered by an organization. When patients receive treatment from TexPTS physical therapists they are receiving treatment that has documented effectiveness and efficiency. Since put into practice, FOTO has made outcomes tracking more visible and aided in training and continuing education for TexPTS physical therapists.
