Meet the Staff
Dr. Kennedy King earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Indiana University prior to obtaining her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from the University of St. Augustine. Her passion for movement and caring for others began at a young age, which naturally developed into a desire to integrate the two as a career.
Kennedy believes physical therapy is not one-size-fits-all and focuses on curating custom treatments through evidence-based research for superior patient outcomes. She has had a variety of experience with diverse populations, including musculoskeletal & orthopedic conditions, vestibular and balance rehabilitation, neuro conditions, and pre-and post-surgical patients. Whether you are a weekend warrior or trying to get back to everyday activities, Kennedy wants to get you feeling like your best self through skilled manual therapy and innovative exercise.
Outside of the clinic, Kennedy enjoys cooking for her friends and family, watching Ohio State football, walking her Frenchie, Bowie, and paddle boarding at Barton Springs.
Dr. Shelagh Brice is a staff Physical Therapist at the Cedar Valley location. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine from Merrimack College and continued to the University of Massachusetts to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy. She is currently licensed in Texas and Massachusetts and is an active member of the APTA and NSCA.
Shelagh has clinical experience in a variety of settings, including outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, outpatient neuro, post-operative care, and subacute rehab hospitals. Shelagh believes in a whole-body functional approach when working with her patients to achieve their goals. She is also passionate about patient education to build their self-efficacy, and body awareness and prevent reinjury.
In her free time, Shelagh enjoys staying active by hiking and running, being outdoors, and loves to experiment in the kitchen, while keeping up with all her Boston sports teams!
