Meet the Staff
Dr. Tibin Prince earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree with honors from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, TX. Prior to living in Austin, Dr. Prince resided in Philadelphia, PA, and attended Temple University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Tibin’s love for anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitative medicine along with the passion to help individuals of all ages is what led him to pursue a career in Physical Therapy.
Dr. Prince is always eager to learn about different orthopedic conditions and apply the most effective and evidence-based interventions available for his patients. Due to his passion for continued learning, after graduation from Physical Therapy school, he pursued an orthopedic residency through Evidence in Motion (EIM) to become an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). Dr. Prince believes that his ability to provide patient-centered care, his love for physical therapy, and continued learning will facilitate effective care for his patients. In order to provide the best care, Dr. Prince is certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling, Blood Flow Restriction through Owen Recovery Science, and Astym therapy to aid therapeutic exercises deliver the best outcomes.
He is board-certified in orthopedics through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS). Though he enjoys treating patients across the spectrum of care, his specialties include knee and shoulder injuries, ACL rehabilitation, post-operative management, and return-to-sport rehabilitation for individuals of all ages.
When not at the clinic, Dr. Prince enjoys exploring Austin hike and bike trails. He stays active with running, weight training and is a novice snowboarder. He also enjoys watching his favorite teams, the Philadelphia Eagles and 76ers. Dr. Prince looks forward to growing as an individual, and as a health care provider as well as working alongside a great team at Texas Physical Therapy Specialists.
Dr. Cara Pineau graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Kinesiology from the University of Rhode Island in 2015. Cara became inspired to become a physical therapist after successfully rehabbing a knee injury in High School. She grew a very strong appreciation for PT and felt inspired to help others recover from the physical, and emotional, effects of an injury. In May 2018, she graduated from the University of Rhode Island with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. She is currently working towards becoming Certified in Manual Therapy through Evidence in Motion (EIM) to expand her evergrowing PT tool kit.
Cara has previous experience in outpatient orthopedics and acute care physical therapy back in Little Rhody. Cara has a special interest in treating patients from all walks of life with various orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. She enjoys the new challenges that come her way everyday as a clinician.
When she is not treating patients in the clinic, Cara enjoys catching up with friends and family. She loves spending time outdoors, riding her bike, attending work-out classes, and exploring all that Austin has to offer.
Byron is a recent graduate of the Physical Therapy Assistant program at South University in Round Rock. He is a native Texan from Mesquite who moved to Austin in 2008. He was drawn to the PT world by a desire to serve others more and was intrigued by the opportunity to help people improve their quality of life through the rehabilitation process. He enjoys meeting new people in the clinic every day and hearing their stories and making connections with them. He is currently working on completing his PTA Specialty Certification in Orthopedics.
Before life in the therapy world, Byron served on active duty in the United States Marine Corps from 2000-2006 as a Signals Intelligence Operator stationed in Pensacola, FL, Ft. Huachuca, AZ, and Kaneohe Bay, HI. He always enjoys crossing paths with fellow Veterans.
When he’s not in the clinic, Byron can be found completing projects at the new house his wife and he recently closed on in South Austin. He also enjoys planning his next trip to the mountains to snowboard, hike, or climb (poorly). He also enjoys being outdoors here in Austin or the surrounding beautiful hill country to camp or hike. He has fun playing with several nephews, visiting family when he can, and looks forward to starting a family of his own with his wife.
