Meet the Staff
Dr. Cartwright grew up in Grand Rapids, MI and after suffering several sports injuries and experiencing physical therapy as a patient, he knew he wanted a rewarding career as a PT. He received his undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University in 2002 and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Temple University in 2005.
After graduation, Dr. Cartwright moved to Miami, FL and has been working in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy ever since. He moved to Texas in 2012 and has no plans on leaving Austin.
Dr. Cartwright is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist(OCS) and has earned his Certification in Manual Therapy through Evidence In Motion. He is also certified in trigger point dry needling.
When he is not treating patients, Dr. Cartwright enjoys road biking, golfing, cooking, watching his Michigan sports teams, and Austin FC. He also enjoys the amazing food culture around the central Texas area.
Elizabeth Wu earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Boston University. Prior to that, Elizabeth obtained her Bachelor of Science in Health Studies from Boston University.
Elizabeth is most interested in treating ankle sprains.
In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys playing and watching any and all sports including but not limited to ultimate frisbee, basketball, football, tennis, rock climbing, and swimming. She also enjoys collecting and reading.
Becca Shipp earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, Texas. She is currently pursuing the Orthopedic Certification program from Evidence In Motion (EIM) while working toward becoming a board certified Sports and Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Dr. Shipp is also certified in trigger point dry needling. Prior to that, Becca obtained her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Montana State University.
Becca specializes in orthopedics and is most interested in treating shoulder conditions.
In her free time, Becca enjoys weightlifting, hiking, and paddleboarding.
