Dr. Tyler Adams graduated with his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology from The University of Tennessee at Martin, before attending University of St. Augustine in Austin, Texas where he graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Tyler continued his education through Evidence in Motion to become a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.
During his time at University of St. Augustine, he coached for Orangetheory Fitness in the north Austin area and continues to coach occasionally on the weekends. Upon graduating, he decided that the community and friends he found was too great to leave behind and decided to begin his career in Austin.
In his spare time, Tyler enjoys exploring Austin’s local parks with his dog Zazu and trying to eat anything a food truck will throw his way!
Shaila Isham earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (DPT) from Texas Woman’s University in Dallas. Prior to that, she danced professionally for several contemporary ballet companies and worked as a strength and conditioning coach. She is a proud graduate of the University of Arizona, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with a minor in Physiology. As an undergrad in Arizona, Shaila was invited to tour China with a performance ensemble and connected with audiences around the country while showcasing the history of American Dance. Currently, she is invested in an Orthopedic Certification through Evidence in Motion with the goal of becoming a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.
Shaila enjoys working with all patient populations, with a special interest in older adults, patients with neurological conditions, sports injuries, and general orthopedics. She is interested in integrating her dance background, knowledge of strength and conditioning, therapeutic exercise, and injury prevention with rehabilitation for all populations.
Shaila is a member of the Orthopedic Section of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS). She is passionate about integrating her physical therapy practice with other aspects of health and wellness, such as nutrition, exercise, mental health, and stress management. In her free time, Shaila enjoys reading, connecting with family and friends, and snuggling with her four dogs, especially the Maltipoos, Minnie and Maizie.
Dr. Timothy Stark earned both a Bachelor of Behavioral Science in Exercise Science and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (DPT) from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. Following graduation, Timothy wanted to pursue his passion for orthopedic physical therapy as well as lifelong learning and joined the TexPTS team. Timothy is currently working to earn his Manual Therapy Certification.
Timothy enjoys working with a variety of orthopedic injuries, pains, and post surgical care. He enjoys using his skills to better the lives of people and allow them to return to the things they love to do. Growing up in a small west Texas town, he played multiple different sports and can relate to a variety of athletes and what they experience in their sport. His favorite aspect of being a physical therapist is creating meaningful relationships with patients and giving them a positive outlook on physical activity.
When Timothy is not in the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Nikki, playing a round of golf, or going kayaking in the many creeks that surround Austin.
