Meet the Staff
Caleb Comer earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of the Incarnate Word. Prior to that, Caleb obtained his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of North Texas.
Caleb is currently an orthopedic resident and is most interested in treating patient’s knees and shoulders.
In his free time, Caleb enjoys collecting vinyl records, cheering on several Texas sports teams, and exploring local cuisine.
Catherine Wozniak earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Emory University. Prior to that, Catherine obtained her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from Florida Atlantic University.
Catherine is most interested in treating shoulder pathology.
In her free time, Catherine enjoys reading, exercising (running, spinning, weightlifting, yoga), and spending time with her two boys and husband.
Jonathan Britton earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of Texas at El Paso. Prior to that, Jonathan obtained his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from New Mexico State University.
In his free time, Jonathan enjoys sports, exercising, and going on adventures with my girlfriend and two dogs.
Nicole Steffen earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Shenandoah University. Prior to that, Nicole obtained her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Shenandoah University.
Nicole is most interested in treating orthopedic injuries.
In her free time, Nicole enjoys watching her girls play softball, cooking, and reading.
Audra graduated with her Associate of Applied Science, Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Concorde Career College – San Antonio. She previously earned her Bachelor of Arts from Henderson State University. Audra plans on completing a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Specialty Certification in Orthopedics and enrolling in a Therapeutic Neuroscience Education course.
With her background in sports, Audra takes an interest in sports-related injuries. However, she enjoys working with all age groups and populations. She seeks out learning new techniques to treat patients and getting them back to living their best life.
Outside of the clinic, Audra enjoys being outdoors, gardening, and spending time with her family. She also enjoys playing with her dog, Athena, and exploring San Antonio with her friends.
Matt earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree in 2020 from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Prior to this he earned his Bachelor of Science at the University of Texas at Dallas. Matt is currently participating in the Orthopedic Residency at Texas Physical Therapy Specialists. Matt has advanced training in the rehabilitation of patients with Parkinson Disease, having attained his LSVT Big certification in 2019.
Matt enjoys spending his free time exercising, hiking, traveling, and hanging out with his wife and precious Weimaraner, Gus.
Kirstin graduated with her Associate of Applied Science, Physical Therapist Assistant degree from St. Philip’s college in 2019. Prior to this, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2015. Kirstin is currently enrolled in a PTA Specialty Certification in Orthopedics and is certified in Therapeutic Neuroscience Education.
Because of her background in athletics and personal training, Kirstin takes special interest in orthopedic patients and sports related injuries.
When not in the clinic, Kirstin enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 dogs, Harvey and Charlie. She also enjoys painting and practicing yoga.
Dr. Nelson is the Westover Hills Clinic Director.
Dr. Steven Nelson graduated with a Bachelor of Behavioral Science in Psychology at Hardin-Simmons University. He went on to receive a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Texas State University. After graduation, he completed his residency through Evidence in Motion’s (EIM) Orthopedic Hosted Residency and is now a Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS).
Dr. Nelson enjoys working with all orthopedic patients with a special interest in the neuroscience of pain, metabolic syndromes, and athletes.Steven currently resides in San Antonio with his wife, Hannah, and dachshund poodle, Charlie. Outside of work, he enjoys running, weightlifting, and exploring the Hill Country with his wife. “Every patient has a different story and a unique history. I emphasize a team approach to help understand the patients background and build a customized plan of care to fit the unique needs of the patient”
