Meet the Staff
Dr. O’Krent received her undergraduate degree from St. Edward’s University. During that time she became fluent in Spanish while studying abroad in Argentina. She was accepted to the University of Texas Medical Branch where she obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2013. In 2016 she received a board certification as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist, which puts her in the top 7% of Physical Therapists nationwide for evidence-based training.
Dr. O’Krent is passionate about her work, traveling, and music. Her goal is to help patients unlock their potential by educating them along the way with simple, key concepts on how to progress their exercise routines and activity levels. Dr. O’Krent strives to provide the best orthopedic care to her patients by improving their strength, general conditioning and overall wellness.
Dr. Cote graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Vermont and went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Since graduating, Liz joined the TexPTS team and has enjoyed living in South Austin. After earning her Doctorate of Physical Therapy, she continued her education by completing a Manual Therapy Certification with Evidence in Motion in 2020 and most recently became an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2021.
Liz enjoys working with all different types of orthopaedic conditions and has a special interest in treating Women’s Health and Pelvic Floor Dysfunction. With a background working with young female athletes, dancers, and figure skaters, she also loves to help athletes return to sport.
When she’s not in the clinic, Liz enjoys spending time outdoors and with friends. She enjoys working out, swimming, reading, trying new restaurants/eateries and watching all her beloved Boston sports teams!
