Meet the Staff
Emma Skelton earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Baylor University. Prior to that, Emma obtained her Bachelor of Science in Education from Baylor University.
Emma is an Orthopedic Resident working toward becoming a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and is most interested in treating all conditions and helping her patients return to activities that they love.
In her free time, Emma enjoys practicing yoga, listening to live music, and eating her way through Austin’s food truck scene.
Dr. Ashley Stagni started her career in physical therapy with an Associates in physical therapy as a licensed PTA in 2009. While working in an outpatient setting she continued to work towards her Bachelors in Exercise Science. She graduated Valedictorian from the University of Saint Francis, Fort Wayne, IN, in 2011. In 2014 she graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Findlay, Ohio.
From there, she relocated to the great state of Texas and continued to pursue further areas of expertise. She earned her Manual Therapy Certification in 2017 and recently became an Orthopedic Certified Specialist in 2018. Currently, she is pursuing her Hand Therapist Certification to allow her to further treat orthopedic cases with greater expertise. After completing this exam, she will be in the 1% of the United States PT population with an OCS, CHT, MTC speciality.
Dr. Stagni lives in Kyle, TX, with her husband, Joshua, and two baby boys, Gabriel and Raphael. She enjoys working in the yard, cooking, baking, wine, finding new fun restaurants, singing in her church choir, and all the fall season has to offer, including Notre Dame football.
David Turner PT, OCS,Cert. MDT, assumed the Clinic Director role with Texas Physical Therapy Specialists in Kyle, Texas, in September 2022. David trained and worked as a Physiotherapist in London UK, before obtaining his license to practice Physical Therapy in Texas in 1994. He first obtained Board Certification with ABPTS in Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 1996 and became certified in McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy in 2011. David has worked in a variety of leadership positions in a variety of clinical settings during his career and is excited to bring the benefit of his experience to the Kyle location.
Helee Patel earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Sumandeep Vidhyapeeth University, India. Prior to that, Helee obtained her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Sumandeep Vidhyapeeth University, India.
Helee is working toward her orthopedic specialist certification and is most interested in treating manual therapy, and shoulder and knee conditions.
Helee lives in Kyle, TX, with her son Maverick. She likes to spend time with her son, catch up with friends and family, outdoors activities such as hiking and camping. She also enjoys Indian movies, Hollywood action movies, yoga, cardio, and weight training.
Kristen Lye earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Texas Lutheran University. Prior to that, Kristen obtained her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Texas Lutheran University.
Kristen specializes in sports and is most interested in treating sports injuries and the pelvic floor.
In her free time, Kristen enjoys all things outdoors, hiking with her dog Oak, and taking road trips.
Kristen Perez earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from South College. Before that, Kristen obtained her Bachelor of Applied Science in Sports and Exercise from the American Military University.
Kristen is working toward her Orthopedics Specialty and is most interested in manual therapy and manipulation and treating sports injuries.
In her free time, Kristen enjoys spending time with her two kids, husband, and dogs; camping and hiking, and playing/watching sports – especially the local Austin FC Soccer team, as well as the Michigan State Spartans.
