Before starting his own physical therapy clinic, he worked in the Sports Medicine Department at Stanford University from 2003-2006, helping to treat intercollegiate and Olympic athletes in over 34 different varsity sports. While at Stanford, he had the opportunity to work in a team setting, interacting with coaches, strength and conditioning specialists, and physicians to provide the best care possible to the student athletes. He has also served on the medical staff for the United States Fencing Association and worked with triathletes in beautiful Kailua-Kona, Hawaii training for the Ironman Triathlon.
Jacon is passionate about the profession of physical therapy and the ability to benefit people by helping them to feel better, move better, and perform better. Jacon has been an adjunct faculty member at Samuel Merritt University’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy program and currently serves as Clinical Specialist for AlterG, makers of the Anti-Gravity Treadmill and the Bionic Leg.
When he is not in the clinic, Jacon enjoys spending his spare time having a nice meal with his wife and learning about Disney princesses his three young daughters. With any leftover moments, he enjoys rooting for his Bay Area Sports Teams.
Born and raised in Houston, TX, Dr. Rachel Clark earned her Bachelor’s degrees in Kinesiology – Exercise Science and Dance right here in Austin, TX at The University of Texas in 2017. She continued her education earning a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Baylor University in 2019.
Her passion for helping others began at a young age and continued to grow culminating into the caring profession of physical therapy. She has worked in a variety of settings from inpatient rehab to outpatient sports rehab, but has found that her passion lies within the outpatient orthopedic and sports setting. Rachel believes her profession requires a dedication to life-long learning and advancement. Her commitment for deepened knowledge led her to pursue the Evidence in Motion (EIM) Orthopedic Residency and is now a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Rachel plans to continue her education and complete the Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) Residency as well.
In her free time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her dog, Skye, hiking on the trails of Austin, health and fitness, taking dance classes, and catching up with friends. She is excited to continue to explore the variety of waterways in and around Austin now that she has returned to Austin to pursue her career.
Dr. Ryan Holloway earned his undergraduate degrees in Biology and Exercise and Sports Science from Texas State University. After graduation, he worked at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum in the Botany department prior to pursuing a career in Physical Therapy. He later attended graduate school at Texas State University and earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy. To better prepare himself to work at the highest level, he pursued and completed a sports residency program through Evidence in Motion and has received advanced manual training through the Institute for Athlete Regeneration. Dr. Holloway is both a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS).
As a former baseball player, Dr. Holloway has a passion with working with athletes of all levels and utilizes evidence based treatment with an individualized approach for each client he sees. He strives to deliver the best possible care for each client, providing them with the skills and tools they need to return to their active lifestyle.

Awston received his Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology (Exercise Science) from Cal Poly Pomona in California. After graduation he attended Azusa Pacific University where he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT). Awston made the move to the Austin area in the early part of 2019 from southern California and will be working towards becoming a Sports Certified Specialist here at TexPTS Round Rock.
Growing up playing a variety of sports as well as being around plenty of friends and family that have been through physical therapy motivated him to pursue a career in the field, especially in the sports arena. Awston is dedicated to providing the utmost care possible, implementing evidence based treatment practices in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for his patients.
When he is not in the clinic you can probably catch Awston enjoying time with his wife (Holly) and two pups Bo and Bella relaxing at home or taking in the various dog parks, local breweries, and sights the area has to offer. Awston is an avid sports fan and die hard Raider, Dodger and Laker fan. One reason he moved to Round Rock was for all of the local sports teams and has enjoyed going to Dell Diamond and rooting on the Express and is looking forward to taking in some Cedar Park Stars and Austin Spurs games in the future. Any extra time he has is filled with woodworking as well
as hitting the links for a round here and there.
