Meet the Staff
Beth DeVos is the Clinic Director of the San Antonio – Alamo Heights location.
Originally from Austin, TX, Dr. Beth DeVos graduated from Trinity University with BS in Business Administration. Beth was part of the TU Track and Field team, where she focused on jumps and throws. A desire to lead an active lifestyle while helping others led Beth back to school to study Physical Therapy. Beth was part of the inaugural class of the first hybrid DPT program at South College in Knoxville, TN, where she graduated with honors. Beth began her career with Texas Physical Therapy Specialists as the first coverage PT in San Antonio, and had the benefit of working with and learning from a variety of specialties across the market. A long-time resident of Alamo Heights, Beth was eager to serve her community and jumped at the chance to develop the Sports Medicine Associates – TexPTS partnership clinic in her neighborhood.
Throughout school, Beth maintained her focus on fitness and health by coaching CrossFit and strength and conditioning classes. A founding coach of The Tribe Strength and Conditioning, she continues to lead weekend classes today. Beth enjoys staying active, traveling, and playing outdoors with her husband and children. Beth’s mission is to help others discover their full potential, and she believes that every day is a win.
Originally from Hendersonville, North Carolina, Tori graduated from East Carolina University with her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology while working as an exercise physiologist performing stress testing. After graduating from ECU, Tori decided to pursue her dream of becoming a physical therapist and attended South College’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program, graduating magna cum laude.
Tori has a passion for working with orthopedic patients of all ages. She has a desire to continue her education and is currently working on her Manual Therapy Certification and becoming Board Certified in Orthopedics.
When she’s not in the clinic, you can find Tori usually at the gym lifting weights or trying out a new restaurant she found on Instagram in San Antonio. She also loves to be outdoors and misses hiking in North Carolina, but there’s no place like Texas!
Jamie graduated from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. After completing her undergraduate degree, she worked as an Ergonomic Analyst for Toyota Manufacturing until she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from South College in 2018.
As someone with a passionate interest in ergonomics, Jamie believes that patients should be able to live their best life at any age, no matter the injury or disability – and she wants to empower others through movement. She is also vested in giving back, currently doing so by serving as a Program Director for Kinetic Kids, a non-profit that helps children with special needs achieve new possibilities through fostering the development of courage, self-esteem, pride, and joy.
Outside of the clinic, Jamie prioritizes quality time with her loved ones and three adorable fur babies. She lives by the slogan, “A day without laughter is a day wasted,” and anyone who knows her can testify those are words she lives by. She also enjoys traveling, car karaoke, and being a food enthusiast!
Originally from the small farming community of Hobson, Texas, Clayton comes to TexPTS with a Cum Laude Bachelor’s degree in Applied Exercise Physiology from Texas A&M University and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center. Since obtaining his doctorate, Clayton has also received his certification in orthopedic manual therapy and aspires to become board-certified in sports and orthopedics.
Professionally, Clayton’s interests include advanced manual and soft tissue therapies, as well as taking an active role in the recovery and rehabilitation of his patients. He believes in the therapeutic power of movement and making sure his patients break a sweat.
True to his upbringing, Dr. Labus loves spending time outdoors, whether it takes the form of hunting, fishing, exercising, or working on his family’s ranch. Clayton is also an avid Texas A&M football fan and enjoys spending time listening to live music or hanging out with his family and friends.
