The therapists, are very nice, friendly, knowledgeable, and encouraging. Their assistants and the office staff are equally as nice and friendly. The facility is clean and spacious. All this together makes for a very pleasant rehab experience!

Meet the Staff
Danielle C. Aguilar received her Bachelors’ degree in Exercise Science/Biomechanics from University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated with her Doctoral of Physical Therapy in 2015 from University of the Incarnate Word. She is working toward becoming a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy (SCS).
Danielle is a certified National Council of Strength and Fitness personal trainer (CPT) and an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Her specialties include return to sport therapy for athletes, injury prevention and manual therapy for the rehabilitation needs of all ages and population.
From south Texas, near South Padre Island, Danielle holds great value in her family and faith. She enjoys spending time with friends and has a passion for health and fitness. As a former collegiate basketball athlete, sports are her passion and she continues to challenge herself physically through sport and fitness.
Dr. Roggia is the Clinic Director of the Spurs Lane location.
Adam earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from Marymount University. Prior to earning his DPT, he obtained his Master’s degree in Sports Conditioning and Performance from Southern Utah University and a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University.
Adam is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). He takes special interest in private practice management and direction, as well as sports and orthopedic physical therapy.
When Adam is not working inside the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, their dog, Bubba, and contributing time and effort to both church and community service. He is a multiple time Boston Marathon qualifier and racer.
Neil graduated with honors from University of the Sciences in Philadelphia with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and started his career with TexPTS as a resident in Evidence In Motion’s Sports Residency program. He a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and is a Board Certified Sport Clinical Specialist (SCS) through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.
Neil takes pride in working with everyone from athletes at all skill levels to those recovering from surgery, ready to work hard and return to their favorite hobbies better than before. He enjoys using his strength and conditioning knowledge and athletic background to provide his patients with a unique and individualized treatment program.
When he’s not in the clinic, Neil enjoys being active, reading, and exploring all that Texas has to offer. He also is a player for the Leander Wolfpack football team. He is excited to continue his physical therapy career with TexPTS and grow alongside a great team!
Dr. Matt Hernandez completed his undergraduate degree at Texas Tech University where he majored in Exercise & Sports Science graduating with high honors. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas.
Growing up playing various sports year-round, Matt has a high interest in treating various orthopedic and sport related conditions. He currently plans to enroll in the Sports Physical Therapy Certification through Evidence In Motion working towards becoming a Board Certified Sports Physical Therapy Specialist.
When not working in the clinic, Matt enjoys exercising, eating all kinds of food, traveling, hanging out with his friends, family, and dogs, and watching any kind of sport.
Taja Maree Jones received her associate degree in 2013 as a Physical Therapist Assistant from St. Philip’s College in San Antonio, Texas.
As a former athlete, Taja’s love of sports and desire to help others inspired her to pursue PT. She is certified in senior strength training and blood flow restriction therapy.
When she is not in the clinic, you can catch Taja running on the trails or attending a Zumba class. She also enjoys attending sporting events (Go Spurs!), listening to music, and spending quality time with her parents and sister.
Kelsey A. Ede was born and raised in Arlington, TX. She is the loudest and proudest member of the Fighting Texas Aggie Class of 2016, graduating with her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2019 from Angelo State University in San Angelo, TX.
Kelsey is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association. She is currently enrolled in the Sports Certified Specialist Residency through Evidence in Motion (EIM) and is excited to continue her learning in the field of physical therapy.
When not working in the clinic, Kelsey enjoys spending time with her husband, Kevin, and their dog, Sarge, as well as family and friends. In addition to keeping up with the Aggies, she loves watching her favorite Dallas sports teams and the U.S. Women’s National Team.
Jonathan completed his undergraduate degree at the University of California, graduating with a BS in Biological Sciences. He went on to receive his Doctor of Physical Therapy at St. Augustine in San Marcos, California, graduating with high honors.
Jonathan’s passion for ongoing education and working with athletes has led him to Texas, where he continues to hone his craft as a resident in Evidence in Motion’s Sports Residency Program. There, he plans to complete the program and become a Board-Certified Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy. He has previously obtained his designation as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. His goal is to continue to improve his skills as a clinician and provide the most effective care to better treat all his patients.
As a native of Long Beach, CA, Texas is all-new to Jonathan. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys exploring San Antonio and all the city has to offer. He also stays active, participating in weightlifting, hiking, and more – all the while searching for great new places to eat.
Eldon grew up in Seattle Washington prior to completing his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah.
As an athlete who grew up playing various sports year-round, including, soccer, baseball, and swimming, Eldon takes special interest in treating various orthopedic and sport-related conditions. He is currently enrolled in a residency program through Evidence in Motion, working towards becoming a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in order to provide the highest quality care to his patients. Eldon is passionate about not only treating the current condition, but also working with patients on preventing future injuries as well.
When he’s not in the clinic, Eldon enjoys spending as much time as he can with his wife, daughter, and their two cats. He also enjoys playing sports, swimming, as well as serving and being active in his church and community.
