The therapists, are very nice, friendly, knowledgeable, and encouraging. Their assistants and the office staff are equally as nice and friendly. The facility is clean and spacious. All this together makes for a very pleasant rehab experience!

Meet the Staff
John Morello graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. While attending A&M, he was an active member of the Corps of Cadets, Company E-2, and the Ross Volunteers. After completing his undergraduate degree, John attended Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia, where he obtained his Clinical Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. John has completed the Manual Physical Therapy Certification through Evidence In Motion and continued his commitment to clinical excellence by becoming a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist.
John and his wife, Nikki, have two young children named Lucas Salvatore and Audriana Rose. When he is not spending time with his work family, he enjoys playing sports, working with his dogs, visiting wine country, and watching the Texas A&M Aggies win!
Jon Sams is a founding owner at Confluent Health and is currently treating patients at the Spring Branch/ Bulverde location. Jon Sams graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Exercise Science from Pfeiffer University and received his Master of Physical Therapy degree from East Carolina University. He completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at A.T. Still University.
Dr. Sams is a Board Certified Specialist in Sports and Orthopedics, a Registered International Sports Physical Therapist, and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Jon’s specialties are sports, manual therapy, and the rehabilitation needs of athletes of all ages. He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, The Texas Physical Therapy Association, and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Jon is excited to be returning to the Spring Branch/Bulverde clinic and the community where he lives and plays.
In his free time, Jon enjoys spending time with his sons, JJ and Cameron. He is a huge college basketball fan and proud supporter of the San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoys serving the Bulverde/Spring Branch Community as a Chamber of Commerce Legacy Leader.
Katey earned her Associate of Science and Arts from Muskegon Community College in 2010. She went on to earn her Associate of Applied Science in PTA, and Bachelor of Science in university studies in 2018.
Katey is currently working towards Certified Personal Trainer certification (CPT) and Fitness Nutrition Specialist (FNS) from NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine). She is also working towards Specialty Certification in Orthopedics from Evidence In Motion (EIM). Katey enjoys treating conditions of the knee and ankle in addition to sports-related and other orthopedic injuries.
When not in the clinic, Katey can be found traveling the world, camping and enjoying nature, cooking primarily vegetarian and other healthy meals, reading, finding a body of water, and conquering the Stairmaster at the gym.
Mersedes became a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant from Concorde Career College in San Antonio. Prior to this she received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Mersedes is currently working towards her specialty Certification in Orthopedics Specialist for PTA through Evidence in Motion (EIM).
Mersedes favorite conditions to treat include shoulder conditions as well as manual therapy.
When not in the clinic, she enjoys going to beach, watching movies, and cheering for San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys. Mersedes loves spending time with her family, friends and especially with her rescued shepherd mix puppy Diamond and border collie Benzie.
Brady Garza received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of the Incarnate Word in 2016. Prior to UIW, she graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Public Relations. In 2017, she completed the orthopedic residency through Evidence in Motion and became an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS).
Dr. Garza enjoys working with orthopedic patients of all ages, with a special interest in pelvic floor dysfunction and postpartum care.
Brady enjoys trying new, trendy restaurants and working off those extra calories spinning. During her downtime, she finds happiness in faith, family, friends and her two English Bulldogs.
