Meet the Staff
Dr. Andrea “Andie” Ward graduated from Texas State University with her Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science, concentrating on physical therapy. Moving forward, she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Hardin Simmons University. Prior to higher education, Andrea was involved in athletic training.
Andrea appreciates treating musculoskeletal conditions with a focus on soft tissue mobilization and providing an empathetic approach to patient care.
Andrea grew up in Austin and now enjoys spending time adventuring in San Antonio and surrounding Hill Country, bowling, and creating charcuterie boards.
MacKenzie Kendall earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)from Baylor University. Prior to that, MacKenzie obtained her Bachelor of Science in Health Science Studies from Baylor University.
MacKenzie is currently completing her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) residency and is most interested in treating orthopedics and geriatrics.
In her free time, MacKenzie enjoys exercising, playing the guitar, and soaking up the sun by the pool or lake.
Kyle Forbes earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. Prior to that, Kyle obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Western Washington University.
Kyle specializes in orthopaedic physical therapy (OCS) and is most interested in treating functional exercise and neuromuscular re-education to treat spine and extremity injuries.
In his free time, Kyle enjoys spending time with his two young children, golfing, and outdoor activities.
John Morello graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. While attending A&M, he was an active member of the Corps of Cadets, Company E-2, and the Ross Volunteers. After completing his undergraduate degree, John attended Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia, where he obtained his Clinical Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. John has completed the Manual Physical Therapy Certification through Evidence In Motion and continued his commitment to clinical excellence by becoming a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist.
John and his wife, Nikki, have two young children named Lucas Salvatore and Audriana Rose. When he is not spending time with his work family, he enjoys playing sports, working with his dogs, visiting wine country, and watching the Texas A&M Aggies win!
Giovan Reyes graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from East Carolina University. While attending ECU, he was an active member of the Army ROTC program for four years. Giovan served in the active-duty military as a commissioned officer for over four and a half years in the United States Army and completed his service at the rank of Captain. He later received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Baylor University.
Giovan is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), The Texas Physical Therapy Association, and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He is currently enrolled in the Sports Physical Therapy Residency through Evidence in Motion. He is motivated and determined to grow in his knowledge of sports performance and rehabilitation for athletes of all ages.
In his free time, Giovan is always looking to explore new venues and restaurants around San Antonio. He enjoys playing sports, working out, swimming, spending time with his dog and is a proud supporter of the Philadelphia Eagles. In addition to this, he has a passion for mixed martial arts with over five years of training experience in different disciplines such as Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing, Tae Kwon Do, Muay Thai, and Boxing.
Mersedes became a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant from Concorde Career College in San Antonio. Prior to this she received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Mersedes is currently working towards her specialty Certification in Orthopedics Specialist for PTA through Evidence in Motion (EIM).
Mersedes favorite conditions to treat include shoulder conditions as well as manual therapy.
When not in the clinic, she enjoys going to beach, watching movies, and cheering for San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys. Mersedes loves spending time with her family, friends and especially with her rescued shepherd mix puppy Diamond and border collie Benzie.
