    David Barna

    Dr. Barna attended Campbell University in North Carolina where he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry in 2014. He is currently continuing his education by completing an orthopedic residency with hopes of becoming an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.

    David enjoys using his education and athletic background to treat athletes of all ages. He understands that every patient is different and enjoys creating individualized treatment plans to help patients return to what they love doing the most.

    When not in the clinic, Dr. Barna enjoys sports, anything outdoors, music, and trying to find the best brisket in the Austin area

  • Scott Cartwright

    Scott CartwrightPT, DPT

    Scott grew up in Grand Rapids, MI and after suffering several sports injuries and experiencing physical therapy as a patient, he knew he wanted a rewarding career as a PT. Scott received his undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University in 2002 and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Temple University in 2005.

    After graduation, Scott moved to Miami, Fl and has been working in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy ever since. He moved to Texas in 2012 and has no plans of leaving Austin.
    Scott is certified in a variety of therapy techniques, including Trigger Point Dry Needling.

    When he is not treating patients, Scott enjoys road biking, golfing, cooking, and actively follows the local music scene. He also enjoys the amazing food culture around the central Texas area.

  • Jill Milke

    Jill MilkePT, DPT

    Dr. Jill Milke received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Denver, Colorado in 2018. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Neuroscience from her home town of Reno, Nevada at University of Nevada, Reno and has been with Texas Physical Therapy Specialists since 2018.

    Outside of clinic, Dr. Milke is also continuing her education as an Orthopedic Resident, preparing to become a board certified Orthopedic Specialist.

    Though she was born and raised in the mountains, she now calls Austin her home and instead of finding her skiing in the Rockies or hiking through Lake Tahoe, you can find her kayaking and paddle boarding down at Town Lake and enjoying getting to know her new home.

  • Ben Morgan

    Ben MorganPT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT

    Dr. Morgan is the Avery Ranch Clinic Director and Residency Director for TexPTS.

    Dr. Morgan attended Texas Tech University Health Sciences center in Lubbock where he graduated with Masters of Physical Therapy in 2004 and Masters of Athletic Training in 2005. In 2012, he completed a transitional Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) through Evidence In Motion with a focus on orthopaedics and manual therapy. In 2013, he became Board Certified in Orthopaedics (OCS) and competed EIM’s Manual Therapy certification. In 2015, he completed a Fellowship in Orthopedics and Manual Physical Therapy and was awarded Fellowship status by the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. He has since followed up with specialty training in Chronic Pain through the International Spine and Pain Institute (ISPI). He also practiced as a licensed Paramedic for the local MICU level 911 service in Lubbock

    In the clinic, Dr. Morgan strives to provide the best orthopaedic care for all conditions with a focus on spine and chronic pain.

    Ben serves as a Managing Partner and Residency Director for TexPTS with a focus on the growth and development of our clinical staff and team building.

    He likes to spend his spare time with his wife, Cassie, and daughter, Madeline, play washers with friends, and try his hand at BBQing. He also travels the US teaching Physical Therapy skills through Evidence in Motion.

  • Sarah Woods

    Sarah WoodsPT, DPT

    Dr. Sarah Woods received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from South College in Knoxville, Tennessee in 2018. In 2016, she graduated from Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington with her Bachelors of Science in Biology, and if she had not become a Physical Therapist she would be on a boat in Alaska right now leading whale watching tours. Sarah is currently completing an Orthopedic Residency program with Evidence In Motion, and working towards becoming a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist.

    Outside of work, Sarah enjoys staying active and spending time with her family. She also enjoys traveling, and has had the opportunity to visit England, Germany, France, Italy, and the Philippines in the past few years. The next place on her list to visit is Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada.
