  • Victoria Leake

    Victoria LeakePT, DPT, OCS

    Dr. Leake received her undergraduate degree from the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs in 2002 and was accepted to the US Army Baylor Physical Therapy Program in San Antonio, Texas, where she graduated with her Masters degree in 2004. She went on to obtain her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Baylor University in 2007. In 2007, she also received her board certification as an Orthopaedic Certified Specialist (OCS).

    Dr. Leake has been practicing physical therapy for over 10 years and was a provider in the US Air Force from 2004 until 2012. During this time she practiced in a variety of settings including direct access physical therapy, acute care in a trauma center, physical therapy in a deployed clinic, and as an orthopaedic specialist in the outpatient setting. She also had the opportunity to provide musculoskeletal care to prisoners of war in a detention center in Afganistan. Dr. Leake established and developed a Traumatic Brain Injury Clinic in Anchorage, Alaska where she practiced before leaving the Air Force and returning to Texas to join the TexPTS team.  Prior to moving to Austin, Victoria ran a TexPTS clinic in San Antonio where she served the Stone Oak area and specialized in Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic aftercare with a emphasis on shoulder rehabilitation.

    Dr. Leake enjoys running her growing clinic in the North Austin area and experiencing all that Austin has to offer. In her spare time, she runs Town Lake, paddle boards, participates in her church community and enjoys going on culinary adventures around the city.

  • Sara Marantz

    Sara MarantzPTA

    Sara received her Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapy Assistant from Austin Community College in May 2018. Additionally, she has been a licensed massage therapist for fifteen years and a certified cupping therapist since 2015.

    Sara was raised in Rockford, Illinois, where she extensively studied dance since she was five years old, participating competitively and having the opportunity to travel all over the country. At the age of fourteen, Sara received a National Scholarship to study dance in Los Angeles, California at The Performing Arts Centre and Joe Tremaine Dance Studio. She has also had the opportunity to study at Hubbard Street Dance Company, River North Dance Company, and the Joffrey Ballet in Chicago, Illinois.

    After graduating high school, Sara attended University of Las Vegas Nevada for two years as a dance major. While studying dance in Las Vegas, Sara had the opportunity to dance professionally in shows at The Luxor, Mandalay Bay, and The Mirage. Her dance career also took her to Lake Tahoe and Atlantic City.

    Sara then moved to the San Diego area, where she began her massage therapy education at the International School of Professional Bodywork in Pacific Beach, CA. Shortly after, Sara moved to Dallas, Texas, where she began her career in dance education and massage therapy. In 2007, Sara moved to Austin, Texas and continued teaching competitive dance at local studios and worked with The Lake Travis Cavalettes and Westwood Sundancers.

    In her free time Sara loves taking her seven-year-old daughter to concerts and sporting events. She is a huge Green Bay Packers fan and Bikram Yoga enthusiast.

  • Jen Mitol

    Jen MitolPT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT

    Dr. Jen Mitol received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2007. After passing her boards as a certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist, she continued on at UIC to complete her Fellowship training in Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy. She joins the elite 1% of PT’s in the United States that are Fellows of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists.

    Her current area of interest is the neurophysiology of pain: why we feel it (and why sometimes we don’t…), and how we can use mechanical interventions (not pharmaceutical or surgical) to alter the pain system of our bodies. Dr. Mitol believes it is truly important to educate people about PT’s role in treating pain and how effective we really can be.

    Dr. Mitol is an avid long-distance backpacker, trail runner and mountain biker and really enjoys exploring central Texas’ amazing trails with her dog, PennyTheAdventureMutt.

  • Ariana Oliveira

    Ariana OliveiraPT, DPT

    Dr. Ariana Oliveira graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University, before attending University of St. Augustine where she graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

    She completed her clinicals in Outpatient Ortho, Pediatrics, Neurological rehab. Dr. Oliveira enjoys working with all different populations and age ranges, from kiddos around 2 years old to our wonderful geriatric population.

    Outside the Clinic She loves to be outdoors running the tails with her dog Nikko, paddle boarding and enjoying big family dinners.

  • Marisa Pohlman

    Marisa PohlmanPT, DPT, OCS

    Dr.Marisa Pohlman is a graduate of the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program at Texas Women’s University in Houston, TX.  She received the Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Texas A&M University in College Station.  She is currently continuing her education in a management/leadership program (PTVille) through Evidence in Motion.

    Dr.Pohlman enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic conditions, ranging from high school athletes to older adults looking to return to their full functional potential.

    She enjoys spending her free time outdoors riding her bike, hiking and being on the lake. If she is not outdoors in Austin, she can be found traveling and exploring new destinations.

  • Ruth Ann Savana

    Ruth Ann SavanaPT, DPT

    Dr. Ruth Ann Savana received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Texas Women’s University in Dallas in 2019 and received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of North Texas. She got her first job as a Physical Therapy Tech at the age of 16 and has been working in clinics and hospitals ever since. She loves PT for the unique opportunity to education and teach patients how to take their health into their own hands. In order to further her skills, she is also an Orthopedic Resident, receiving additional education with Evidence in Motion and mentorship in order to become an Orthopedic Certified Specialist. She has a special interest working with First Responders as well as helping every patients achieve their specific goals no matter how big or small.

    She is new to Austin, her and her husband previously lived in the North Texas area but came to Austin to seek a new adventure. They love spending time by the lake with their two dogs, renovating their home, and traveling.

  • Marcus Sorenson

    Marcus SorensonPT, DPT

    Marcus received his Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy from The University of North Dakota in 2000.  He then went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The University of North Dakota as well.

    Marcus has spent 5 years of his career performing outpatient/orthopedic physical therapy with an emphasis on sports medicine. He has been the team physical therapist for many minor league professional sports teams: Austin Wranglers, Corpus Christi Sharks, Corpus Christi Hammerheads, Corpus Christi Rayz, Corpus Christi Aviators. He has also spent 13 years of his career performing home health physical therapy throughout Corpus Christi, San Antonio, and Austin communities.

    When not in the clinic Marcus loves to spend time outdoors with family and friends. He enjoys swimming, playing sports, and cooking. Marcus also likes to travel and see new sights. He hopes to someday become an apprentice for a chef in France or Italy.
