Joshua HaffnerPT, DPT
Raised in New Braunfels, TX, Joshua graduated from South College in Knoxville, TN with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT). Joshua has a strong passion for continued education and is currently working to become Board Certified in Orthopaedics through Evidence In Motion. He enjoys working with orthopaedic patients of all ages and has special interest in persistent pain and behavior change. Josh is committed to promoting health and wellness through compassionate evidence-based care.
In his free time, Joshua enjoys strength training, camping, hiking, enjoying the doors, and reading nutritional science. He is a firm believer in the taco.

Dr. Thobaben is the Clinic Director at the San Antonio – Medical Center clinic.
Dr. Thobaben received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Florida in 2012 after receiving her Bachelor of Music from Baldwin-Wallace University and Master of Music degree from the Longy School of Music. She is currently a hosted Resident through Evidence in Motion and serves as adjunct faculty at the University of the Incarnate Word School of Physical Therapy, where she tutors students in the Problem-Based Learning curriculum. Dr. Thorbaden earned the professional designation of Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2016.
Dr. Thobaben is committed to providing evidence-based, compassionate care to her clients and promoting and engaging in lifelong learning.
Prior to her physical therapy training, Dr. Thobaben worked as a professional violinist and violist. She performed and taught violin and viola in the New England area before her experience with an overuse injury inspired her to pursue a new career in PT. Dr. Thobaben and her husband Gary met in music school in Ohio, and have enjoyed the transition to San Antonio weather. They enjoy collaborating musically by taking piano lessons and arranging Christmas carols together.
