    Kirstin BoePTA

    Kirstin graduated with her Associate of Applied Science, Physical Therapist Assistant degree from St. Philip’s college in 2019. Prior to this, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2015. Kirstin is currently enrolled in a PTA Specialty Certification in Orthopedics and is certified in Therapeutic Neuroscience Education.

    Because of her background in athletics and personal training, Kirstin takes special interest in orthopaedic patients and sports related injuries.

    When not in the clinic, Kirstin enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 dogs, Harvey and Charlie. She also enjoys painting and practicing yoga.

  • Stephen Henninger

    Stephen HenningerPT, DPT

    Stephen earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2018 from East Tennessee State University. Prior to this he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. Stephen is currently in Orthopedic Residency at Texas PT Specialists. He is also certified in Bloodflow Restriction Therapy and Therapeutic Dry Needling.

    He enjoys working with all ages, from young athletes to the geriatric population. Stephen loves revealing to his patients their full physical potential and helping them in their journey to better health.

    In his free time he enjoys weightlifting, hiking on a beautiful sunny day, playing tennis, and playing volleyball.



  • Caryn Kadous

    Caryn KadousPT, DPT

    Caryn earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Iowa in 2018. Prior to this she completed her undergraduate from Auburn University in 2015. Caryn is currently going through the EIM Orthopedic Residency Program

    Caryn’s background in gymnastics has given her a strong appreciation for the artistic athlete population. After she finishes residency, she plans to increase her focus on networking within her community so she can develop a stronger connection with the club facilities in the San Antonio area.  Caryn wants to give back to the sport that ultimately helped lead her to become a Physical Therapist.

    When not in the clinic, you can find Caryn at either at the gym, at a coffee shop, or sitting pool side reading her latest reading obsession.

  • Nicole Kolmeier

    Nicole KolmeierPTA

    Nicole received her Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from the University of the Incarnate Word in 2014 and her Associate of Applied Science, Physical Therapist Assistant from St. Philip’s College in 2019. Nicole will be starting Evidence in Motion’s PTA Specialty Certification in Orthopaedics with the next cohort.

    Nicole enjoys working with all orthopaedic patients and loves to help patients of ages.

    When not in the clinic, she enjoys staying active and playing volleyball. She loves spending time with her family and friends an can often be found exploring the outdoors.

  • Steven Nelson

    Steven NelsonPT, DPT, CSCS, OCS

    Dr. Nelson is the Westover Hills Clinic Director.

    Dr. Steven Nelson graduated with a Bachelor of Behavioral Science in Psychology at Hardin-Simmons University. He went on to receive a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Texas State University. After graduation, he completed his residency through Evidence in Motion’s (EIM) Orthopedic Hosted Residency, is now a Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS), and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).

    Dr. Nelson enjoys working with all orthopedic patients with a special interest in the neuroscience of pain, metabolic syndromes, and athletes.Steven currently resides in San Antonio with his wife, Hannah, and dachshund poodle, Charlie. Outside of work, he enjoys running, weightlifting, and exploring the Hill Country with his wife. “Every patient has a different story and a unique history. I emphasize a team approach to help understand the patients background and build a customized plan of care to fit the unique needs of the patient”

  • Melanie Tomerlin

    Melanie TomerlinPT, DPT

    Melanie graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of the Incarnate Word in 2018. Prior to this, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a Minor in Psychology from Texas A&M University in 2015. She has completed a Manual Therapy Certification from EIM, is certified in Therapeutic Neuroscience Education, and plans to become Board Certified in Orthopedics in the Spring of 2021.

    Melanie takes a special interest in treating people of all ages with orthopedic, neurologic, and vestibular impairments.

    When not at work in the clinic, Melanie enjoys spending time with her husband. She also enjoys reading, hiking, and baking.
