Melanie BassPT, DPT
Dr. Melanie Bass graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology from Texas A&M University. She went on to earn Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of the Incarnate Word. She is currently enrolled in Evidence In Motion’s Manual Therapy CErtification program.
Dr. Bass enjoys working with orthopaedic and neurologic patients of all ages, but takes special interest in vestibular physical therapy and applied functional science.
Currently residing in San Antonio, Texas, Melanie enjoys spending time with her friends and family, hiking, traveling, and reading.

Dr. Nelson is the Westover Hills Clinic Director.
Dr. Steven Nelson graduated with a Bachelor of Behavioral Science in Psychology at Hardin-Simmons University. He went on to receive a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Texas State University. After graduation, he completed his residency through Evidence in Motion’s (EIM) Orthopedic Hosted Residency, is now a Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS), and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
Dr. Nelson enjoys working with all orthopedic patients with a special interest in the neuroscience of pain, metabolic syndromes, and athletes.Steven currently resides in San Antonio with his wife, Hannah, and dachshund poodle, Charlie. Outside of work, he enjoys running, weightlifting, and exploring the Hill Country with his wife. “Every patient has a different story and a unique history. I emphasize a team approach to help understand the patients background and build a customized plan of care to fit the unique needs of the patient”

Breanne Riley attended Texas A&M to receive a bachelor of arts in biology with a minor in Spanish. She received her clinical doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and is currently participating in the manual therapy certification through Evidence in Motion (EIM). She currently serves as adjunct faculty at University of the Incarnate Word facilitating students in a problem based learning curriculum.
Breanne’s passion for working with patients with lymphedema has led her to become a certified lymphedema therapist. She is LANA certified and frequently speaks at breast CA support groups to educate and connect with the community.
Breanne’s mission is to facilitate success for her patients by empathy born from previous experience in PT as a patient, constant drive for clinical excellence, and providing best care. When she is not treating patients, she is running, dancing, participating in dog agility, and exploring Texas.
