  • Christopher Baker

    Christopher BakerMS, DPT, DC, DACBN

    Dr. Baker is the Clinic Director in San Marcos and is a co-owner of Texas Physical Therapy Specialists.

    Christopher Baker earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science and his Masters of Science in Nutrition from Texas A&M University. Following Texas A&M, he received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Texas Chiropractic College and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Evidence in Motion (EIM). He also has his Diplomat Board Certification through the American Board of Clinical Nutrition.

    Dr. Baker has focused on injury assessment and treatment in the area of sports injuries, back pain, and associated fibromyalgia-type challenges. He enjoys integrating clinical nutrition with his manual-therapy based approach to functional recovery and treatment of musculoskeletal pain. He also focuses on injury prevention, work-force injury reduction, empowering patients with self-care and focusing on health care cost reduction for patients and employers.

    Dr. Baker is married and has four children, two boys and two girls. His family travels together as a German Polka band and has performed in several states. In his spare time he enjoys
    outdoor sports, canoeing, traveling, farming, and hunting. He is involved in several service organizations including Rotary, Crimestoppers, San Marcos, Oktoberfest, Chamber of Commerce, and Texas State University Performing Arts Center.

  • Sarika Bhakta

    Sarika BhaktaPT, MPT, DPT, OCS

    Sarika Bhakta received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with concurrent Chemistry and Art minors from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas, and her Master in Physical Therapy (MPT) from Texas Tech University – School of Allied Health Sciences.

    Sarika has been practicing in orthopaedics and working with chronic pain patients for over eight years. Her passion for learning has led her to further her education, and she is currently working towards earning her Transitional Doctorate in Physical Therapy and Orthopaedic Certified Specialist (OCS) certification in 2018.

    When Sarika is not in the clinic, she enjoys traveling, staying active, training for marathons, reading, and creating sketches while listening to music.

  • Tiffany Constantino

    Tiffany ConstantinoPT, DPT, CSOMT, OCS

    Tiffany attended Texas State University, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Biology and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. During her tenure at Texas State she taught cadaver anatomy, tutored neurology studies, and graduated summa cum laude.

    She is certified in Sports Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (CSOMT) and is currently a Fellow-In-Training through the Institute for Athlete Regeneration. Tiffany is a candidate to become an Orthopaedic Certified Specialist (OCS) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy (FAAMOPT) this year. She enjoys treating patients with all orthopaedic issues from those recovering from joint replacements, to the weekend warrior, to the professional athlete.

    Tiffany was born and raised in San Antonio Texas. She is married and a mother of two special needs children. When she is not spending time with her family she enjoys hitting the batting
    cages, swimming, golfing and weightlifting.

  • Jordan Ingram

    Jordan IngramORT/CHT

    Jordan earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Louisiana Tech University, in her hometown of Ruston, Louisiana, and her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.

    Jordan has enjoyed the opportunity to grow in her clinical skills by practicing in a variety of settings to gain a holistic perspective of the continuum of patient care. She has worked in outpatient settings, acute care, and the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Her main interests are in orthopedic conditions of the hand and upper extremity, and she is currently working towards obtaining a specialty certification in hand therapy.

    In her spare time, you can find Jordan traveling with friends and family, attending live sporting or music events, running half marathons, or working out at Orangetheory Fitness. Jordan also enjoys providing respite care services for families with foster children.

  • Taylor Kurtz

    Taylor KurtzPT, DPT

    Taylor Kurtz holds a clinical Doctorate of Physical Therapy from South College in Knoxville, Tennessee. Prior to this he attended Texas State University completing his Bachelor’s in Exercise and Sports Science where he competed on the school’s lacrosse team. He is currently completing an Orthopedic Residency program with Evidence In Motion and working towards becoming a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist.

    He takes special interest in a wide range of specializations including geriatrics, persistent pain, and returning the blue-collar athlete back to their work duties. Dr. Kurtz is passionate about combating preventable, chronic disease while using movement as medicine.

    Dr. Kurtz and his wife, Jenny, met while at Texas State and have one young daughter. Their family enjoys embarrassing themselves on the Gruene Hall dance floor, spending time on the river banks, and consuming far too many tacos. In his spare time, Taylor enjoys playing guitar, camping, live music, and playing paintball.

     

  • Tom Lawlor

    Tom LawlorPT, DPT, CSCS, OCS

    Dr. Tom Lawlor earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and Masters in Exercise Science from Texas State University. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).

    Dr. Lawlor enjoys using his manual therapy skills and knowledge of movement to help facilitate healing in a diverse population from the young athlete to the older adult.

    Dr. Lawlor is a man of faith, husband, father of four children, and a retired US Air Force veteran. In his free time, he enjoys activities with his family, competitive mountain biking, triathlons, resistance training, and skiing.

  • Clinton Mays

    Clinton MaysPT, DPT, OCS

    A native Texan, Clinton Mays holds a clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. He is an Orthopaedic Certified Specialist and has completed his manual therapy certification to further enhance his skills as a clinician. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota, where he competed on the school’s Division I gymnastics team.

    Dr. Mays focus is on treating patients with various orthopaedic conditions, as well as working with athletes and weekend warriors with sports-related injuries.

    Dr. Mays currently lives in Austin, Texas. When’s he’s not in the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, riding his motorcycle and traveling the world. He has had the opportunity to visit Iceland, Japan, Spain, Bali, and Australia and is looking forward to continue growing that list.

  • Katie Pitt

    Katie PittDSc, OTR/L, CHT

    Katie completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch for Occupational Therapy. She went on to earn her Master’s degree in exercise science and health promotion from California University of Pennsylvania and her Doctor of Science in Occupational Therapy from U.S. Army Baylor University in 2013. Katie achieved top academic success in all of her formal education, including being named as a Presidential Scholar. She has served as guest lecturer at multiple doctoral programs and currently serves as a faculty member in Evidence in Motion’s post professional Doctorate in Occupational Therapy program.

    Katie recently retired from the U.S. Army after 23 years. She was an Army flute player and served as an Upper Extremity Physician Extender for 12 years. She has been practicing as a Certified Hand Therapist since 2011 and specializes in the elbow, wrist, and hand. Katie is highly experienced with advanced upper extremity diagnostics and evaluation, splinting, treatment, and wound care.

    Katie calls Austin home, though she moved all over through the course of her military career. Katie is a single mother to two beautiful children. In her off-time, she enjoys running, biking, and hosting dinner parties.

  • Ashley Stagni

    Ashley StagniPT, DPT, OCS

    Dr. Ashley Stagni recently moved from Indiana to Texas after graduating from the University of Findlay in 2014 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Prior to obtaining her Doctorate she worked as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for 5 years. She is currently pursuing her Manual Therapy certification from Evidence In Motion (EIM) and plans to obtain her
    board certification in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy (OCS) in 2018.

    Ashley has been working in orthopaedics for the past 7 years and loves to work with all patient populations. She seeks to build a relationship with all her patients to return them to what they desire most!

    Dr. Stagni is a woman of faith and is married with a little baby boy, Gabriel. She enjoys family life, and her hobbies include baking, cooking, singing, and touring the many wineries this region has to offer.
