    Kimberly Guerra started her medical career as an office manager at an outpatient pediatric rehabilitation in 2012. While working there, she fell in love with Occupational Therapy’s holistic approach for rehabilitation care. She later went on to set a goal for herself to become a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). In 2018, she received an A.A.S in Occupational Therapy from the Laredo College graduating at the top of her class. While in her OTA program Kimberly was a natural born leader and served as president of her class.

    Kim continues to pursue higher education taking courses for a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. After which, she will then apply for a Master’s degree in Occupational therapy. She practices using the most updated evidence-based practice techniques and has experience working with the pediatric population. She has enjoyed the challenge of learning hand therapy.

    Kim is well rounded and enjoys working with all ages striving to get patients   engaged in their daily activities.  Kim is new to the city of Kyle where she lives with her fiancé and daughter. When Kim is not at work or home you will find her cycling on her specialized road bike, traveling, enjoying a good meal, or out on an adventure trying new things with her family.

  • Katie Pitt

    Katie PittDSc, OTR/L, CHT

    Katie completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch for Occupational Therapy. She went on to earn her Master’s degree in exercise science and health promotion from California University of Pennsylvania and her Doctor of Science in Occupational Therapy from U.S. Army Baylor University in 2013. Katie achieved top academic success in all of her formal education, including being named as a Presidential Scholar. She has served as guest lecturer at multiple doctoral programs and currently serves as a faculty member in Evidence in Motion’s post professional Doctorate in Occupational Therapy program.

    Katie recently retired from the U.S. Army after 23 years. She was an Army flute player and served as an Upper Extremity Physician Extender for 12 years. She has been practicing as a Certified Hand Therapist since 2011 and specializes in the elbow, wrist, and hand. Katie is highly experienced with advanced upper extremity diagnostics and evaluation, splinting, treatment, and wound care.

    Katie calls Austin home, though she moved all over through the course of her military career. Katie is a single mother to two beautiful children. In her off-time, she enjoys running, biking, and hosting dinner parties.
